The Student Partnership Agreement 2019-20 defines how HISA and UHI will work together to use all students throughout the partnership. Student partnership agreements are a way for student associations and institutions to promote ways for students to interact with their institution`s staff in order to improve quality. The agreement for 2019-20 was reached with the university`s Quality Assurance and Enhancement Committee (QAEC) and HISA and was signed on October 9 by both HISA President Alan Simpson and university director Crichton Lang. The new strategic partnership was officially signed at Inverness College UHI by Professor Chris O`Neil, Director of Inverness College UHI, and Graham Findlater, President of the Highland Rugby Club. Three working groups have been established to advance work on this year`s themes. Our national and regional strategy describes precisely how investments and resources can be directed towards such a partnership, and we would like to congratulate all parties involved for taking the project to this stage. The document was developed in light of the recommendations of the post-16 Education Green Paper, in which all Scottish universities advocated a Student Partnership Agreement (SPA) with their student association. . . .
